SirGalahad

Do you have a decklist for the second place as well? Would really like to know, if there are some new cards in the blood list. Thx!

Maqi

Well, basically the HL-Cup winning list with a slight nod to white:

-Copperline Gorge
+Sunpetal Grove

-Chandra Pyromaster
+Elspeth, Sun's Champion
+Council's Judgement

From the top of my head (missing one cut). Nothing too drastic overall.

Match 1: Manuel Hauck with RG-Beats 2-0

Game 1: Manuel played turn 2 Generator Servant followed turn 3 by Prophetic Flamespeaker and Tarmogoyf. I had Slagstorm on hand but the Tarmogoyf would had survived that by growing to 3/4. So I waited till turn 5 dropping to relative low life, meanwhile the Prophetic Flamespeaker had generated card advantage, then I had Izzet Charm for the Tarmogyof and Slagstorm for the final 5-2 Swap. Afterwards on turn 6 I played Neurok Commando and Manuel had no relevant card but a few burn spells for my unnescessary other creatures. Second last turn I had Keranos with nearly enough blue and red mana symbols on permanents .On the last turn Manuel had 4 useless cards on hand: Vines of Vastwood, Destructive Revelry, Forest and another Burnspell.

Game 2: Manuel had only 2 lands and as he founded the third land the game was nearly over.

Match 2: Ronald Lehman with Esper-Control 2-0

Game 1: On Ronald's turn 3 I played Vendillion Clique to see if my turn 4 play were safe. I saw a Phantasmal Image, Reanimate, snow-covered Plains, Tainted Pact; I selected the the Pact and topdecked Jace Beleren for the play. Ronald played Image for my Clique, I answered with Flametongue Kavu which he again answered with Reanimate to Phantasmal Image for Flametongue Kavu. I shot the Kavu and layed Thassa plus Young Pyromancer on the Board. As Ronald was on 8 lifepoints he played Zur the Enchanter, I tried to shot him with a Lightning Strike which got countered by a Force of Will. In the following round Zur took my Flametongue Kavu away and I finally topdecked Price of Progress with Thassa,G.o.t.S.

Game 2: I suspended turn 1 my Ancestral Vision, Ronald answered turn 2 by playing Bitterblossom, turn 3 Ronald tried to play Impulse which I had a Remand for it. Next turn I had a Wasteland and Ronald had no other land to play Imupulse again. As my Ancestral Vision resolved Ronald finally conceded.

Match 3: Sebastian Nötzel with UW-Control 2-0

Game 1: This game was very long very even, we both had counters and removal. I had additionally a Frostburn Weird for slowly grinding his lifepoints and removing his Jace, Architect of Thought. Later he played Unexpectedly Absent while I cracked my Grixis Panorama, so I shuffled my Weird away but drawed it back supported by a Voidmage Prodigy for his Personal Tutor plus Entreat the Angels. Finally I layed down Back to Basic blocking him 3 lands, leaving him only 3 basics, which wasn't enough.

Game 2: At the beginning Sebastian had only Karakas, Ancient Den, Maze of Ith and The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale but no blue mana. I sacrificed my Trinket Mage to the Tabernacle and played True-Name Nemesis with Counterbackup(the Mage doesn't look impressive against a Maze). As Sebastian found enough mana he played Restoration Angel for the counter damage race but I had Condescend. As he was low on life he found Supreme Verdict, but I had Sensei's Diving Top for his Mental Mistep plus Pithing Needle for his Maze and the Stormbreath Dragon for his last lifepoints.

Match 4: Adrian Dziuba with 4C-Blood  ID

Throw enough goblins at any problem and it should go away. At the very least, there'll be fewer goblins.
