I've made a small statistic about the performance of the decks which have been played in [HLL]Season IV - VI.

Make a guess which decks are on the top of that list and which decks performed poorly   ;)

The list will follow soon.

Where the black flame burns inside the palace fountain.

Best deck, probably heartbeat. had a lot of wins, and i dont remember it losing that much, and probably some aggro.

worst its hard to say, because we had a bit of "random" decks here.

Did you do all decks or did it have a minimum of games to be included?

The list includes all deck with at least 10 games.

Ok, Best deck (If you just look at the percentage of matches won) is maybe Oath, Skies or RG I think.

Sensenmann

mhm with at least 10 games the best deck should be payrons Boros-Deck. It did fairly well this season and crushed several decks. Worst deck with so many games... maybe dragonstorm?

Don't know, I only played this season.

Absolutely right - Payrons Boros is no. 1

I didn t even notice my deck worked that well o_O .. well 3 aggro decks on the top ... after that the are 3 combo/control ... pretty cool to see also Mono B Suicide on the top .. because it was my first deck at my first GP ;)

Mythrandir

Congrats! It seems like a well balanced meta. Aggro + control + some combo is nice. Althoug this is good data and we can extract information from it, it should be referenced that ppl change decks in the same league, nevertheless, i´m happy with the top10 :)

Any chance of us getting some percentages and the total number of matches for each deck? thks :D

Outlaw

Meh, i thought my red death did better.  :(

Well i thought RG-Beats would do better
Throw enough goblins at any problem and it should go away. At the very least, there'll be fewer goblins.

I put this into Open Office Calc and calculated some stuff. Find it also in the attachment.

Aggrodecks were played in 575 of 1160 games, which is 49.57%. They won 52.52% of their games.
Controldecks were played in 305 of 1160 games, which is 26.29%. They won 54.10% of their games.
Midrangedecks were played in 178 of 1160 games, which is 15.34%. They won 51.12% of their games.
Combodecks were played in 102 of 1160 games, which is 8.79%. They won 51.96% of their games.

One should really gather similar statistics for match wins, because they are what really count. For example I always won 2-1 with Battle of Wits so my match win percentage should be higher.

Imo the match-% does not suit well for this kind of statistics especially because there is no sideboarding at all in HL. So if you win e. g. 2-1, 2-1, 2-1, 0-2, 0-2 vs same deck the  match win percentage would maybe put into your mind that you are a 60% favourite for next match...
but the true is that your opponent is the favourite.

Well, but there is the Highlander-Mulligan.

So it could be, that there is a deck that uses the mulligan in a way to find answeres I the owner knows the deck of the opponent. So he might loose all first games, but he could be able to win each second and third game.
I know, thats improbable, but it could be.  :P

Sturmgott

The most important thing which makes this statistic kind of irrelevant is that in the HLL, people can see what deck their opponents play before choosing what they play. This distorts the results in a way that I don't think anything at all can be deducted from the HLL results - except for maybe who can play well.
