Sorry Christoph :-[, me culpa - i haven't expected that many interested person as it took quite a while to find 8 participants last year. So LasH had the chance to participate even w/o any HLL ranking with a "wildcard" in last year's Online Invitational Championship in which he reached the finals
this year it's way different, unexpected we have 9 ranked players already + one other GP Top 8 player who wants to join, the tournament takes place with the 8 highest ranked HLL Online Players
i pondered a while if i should change the structure, e. g. elimination contest for seat 5-8 or extend he number of seats for the tournament but decided to stay with this structure of 8 players as usual, so actually pyyhttu fills the last spot of the tournament as long no higher-ranked player wants to join
in short meaning: no wildcards this year

@MMD - you are right, my mistake
i should have made clear(er) that the "special invitation" has been an invitation to sign in which doesn't guarantee taking part in the action
if 2 Top 20 players would like to join i had even to disinvite pyyhttu and LasH - that's part of the tournament structure

First of all: I would really like to have nemavera in this tourney, that's why i've given him that "special notice"
by mistake i announced this pointer as "special
invitation"
i gave such a pointer to nemavera, pyyhttu, LasH, ChristophO and randomizer
so why should i replace pyyhttu, LasH or randomizer by nemavera ? would this solve this "problem" - imo no it doesn't cause everyone of them got the same "special invitation"
so I've kept the standing order untouched which means the highest ranked players in the ladder have the right to join the tournament nevertheless everyone is welcome to sign in
Again, it´s not my part of business. My name is not nemavera and I am not a friend of him (I don´t even know him except that I watched the final). But if I would have invited someone to a tournament I would have made sure that he can attend in case he accepts the invitation. It seems we have a different understanding about "inviting someone". I really do not wanted to discuss this in detail here in the forum. I just shaked my head and dropped my commentary. That´s all.

Some clarification, I didn't send Vazdru a decklist, he assigned a very old and bad one to me. I found that unfair, but didn't want to delay the tournament any longer by pulling out.
