Seems to be down for all of us.

http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/Mtgpulse.com

We would need to consider hosting deck database of our own.

We had something like a deckdata base back in the days.
http://magicplayer.org/?id=decks (http://magicplayer.org/?id=decks)
But somehow no one is continued that, maybe because of much more tournaments these days.

You are still able to find all decklists on mtgdecks.net (http://mtgdecks.net)

for example my decklists are here https://mtgdecks.net/decks/index/deckbuilder:Dion%20Sabel (https://mtgdecks.net/decks/index/deckbuilder:Dion%20Sabel)

unfortunatly mtgpulse hasn't come back and won't do so in near future probably
so we need a new platform obviously
my favorite is tappedout.net (http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/ugrb-scapeshift/)

it seems easy in handling and has a big fanbase

what do you think about this one?

on the other hand it doesn't offer event-structures, so Top8-decks http://mtgtop8.com/format?f=HIGH seems better that way

but do mtgtop8 offers a edit-function? haven't found one yet?
furthermore the presentation seems worse than tappedout and mtgpulse

Tbh I think we should use our own with the new website. We should discuss this. If anyone has basic knowledge in managing SQL databases and wants to help, please let us know

Sounds good, but how long will it take until the new homepage goes online.

I think we need a temporary solution, http://mtgtop8.com/format?f=HIGH (http://mtgtop8.com/format?f=HIGH) looks better for me than http://tappedout.net/ (http://tappedout.net/)

I've sent mail to the admins of that site I know of to find out if there's anything that can be saved.

With the new app from mkm with tournament results and decklists, maybe this is an option for a plattform saving all our data and decklists?

Where's the source code of that deck database? No thanks. If it's not open, we would be jumping from one proprietary solution to another and repeat the same mistakes again.

i wrote with the site owner matthias and would like to inform you about the possibility to install a "european highlander-deck section". so i think there schould be a little discussion about this. he is asking for three highlander-enthusiasts to work on the database... dion and me are offering our help to start this.

"wir überlegen gerade auch, wie wir Highlander mitaufnehmen
können/wollen. Wir vermutlich drauf hinauslaufen, dass wir eine Funktion
zum Deckhochladen erstellen werden. Dann bräuchten wir halt zwei, drei
Leute, die von uns Editier-Rechte bekommen. Ich nehme an, Du hättest da
Interesse?"

thanks! sounds promising to me
MKM would be a durable solution with options for further developments and tools
additionally it would have a separate European Highlander Section, so no mix with Canadian HL, Commander etc.
furthermore I prefer a solution which could be launched right away instead of a maybe even better one which do not come
